We’re thrilled to host a phenomenal jazz artist on August 2nd, but there's a twist: we’re keeping the name under wraps for now! Due to an old industry tradition, artists often can't perform within a certain radius of other venues in a short timeframe. While the intention might be to protect venues, it can limit opportunities for the artists who rely on live performances.

At Meyhouse Jazz, we believe in putting the artists first. We want to ensure that the vibrant tradition of jazz thrives, and that means making sure artists have every opportunity to perform and connect with audiences.

We also want to take this moment to encourage our fellow club owners to join us in rethinking this practice. By working together, we can ensure that the art form we all love continues to flourish and that the artists can thrive.
