Led by Kai Lyons, winner of the 2022 Chito Latamblet Award for Best Tresero at the National Changüí Festival of Guantánamo, Cuba, this special edition of A Night in Havana brings together a remarkable group of musicians with deep roots in Cuban musical traditions.
Featured on lead vocals is José Andrés “El Sinsonte” Rodríguez, a celebrated Cuban singer and composer from Guantánamo and a leading voice in the changüí tradition. Known for his powerful vocals, charismatic stage presence, and mastery of improvised singing, José Andrés brings the sound of eastern Cuba directly to the stage, drawing from a musical tradition passed down through generations.
