Join us for an unforgettable evening as acclaimed pianist Tammy L Hall brings the sun-soaked rhythms and lyrical beauty of Brazilian jazz to Meyhouse. In Tammy L Hall Goes to Brazil, the Bay Area favorite blends her soulful touch and elegant improvisation with the infectious spirit of bossa nova, samba, and Afro-Brazilian groove.
Tammy’s deep musicality and radiant presence make her one of the most beloved figures in West Coast jazz. With this special Brazilian-inspired program, she explores the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim, Djavan, Milton Nascimento, and other masters of the Brazilian soundscape, reinterpreted through her own joyful and deeply expressive lens.
She’s joined by a stellar rhythm section:
Kevin Goldberg on bass – grounding the groove with warmth and fluidity,
