Bay Area powerhouse vocalist Rhonda Benin brings her unmistakable warmth, groove, and commanding stage presence to Meyhouse Jazz in Jazz on the Soul Side—an evening where jazz meets the deep feeling and irresistible rhythms of blues and soul.
Known for her expressive voice, magnetic personality, and natural connection with audiences, Benin moves effortlessly from intimate jazz ballads to blues-drenched grooves and soulful, hard-swinging numbers. A longtime member of the GRAMMY-nominated Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir, Benin performed and recorded with the ensemble for more than two decades and toured internationally across more than 30 countries.
