Chad Opitz is an LA-based comic known for veering between one-liners, short story jokes, and — occasionally — song, with writing as well-regarded as his character and performance work. He's been a featured guest on the Doug Loves Movies podcast and The Benson Interruption, a multi-year featured performer at San Francisco Sketchfest (2016–2024), and the winner of Bay Area legend Jimmy Gunn's "Best Newcomer" award. Chad is a regular host at Punch Line San Francisco and Punch Line Sacramento, and a feature act at Cobb's Comedy Club, Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club, and San Jose Improv. He's performed at High Plains Comedy Festival in Denver and Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin, and headlined the B4UDie Comedy Festival in Anchorage, Alaska.…
