Bay Area powerhouse vocalist Rhonda Benin brings her unmistakable blend of jazz, blues, and soul to Meyhouse Jazz for an evening filled with warmth, groove, and extraordinary vocal expression.
Known for her commanding voice, magnetic stage presence, humor, and deep connection with audiences, Benin moves effortlessly from intimate ballads to blues-drenched grooves and soulful, hard-swinging performances. The Pacifica Tribune praised her for “a coolly hip vocal… and an undercurrent of big booming power.”
A longtime member of the GRAMMY-nominated Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir, Benin performed and recorded with the ensemble for more than two decades, touring extensively around the world.
