Known for his “high skill and sensitivity” by The New York Times, pianist and composer Chris McCarthy has established himself as one of the most in-demand musicians on the New York jazz scene. Hot House Jazz Magazine has called him “one of the most imaginative and impressive voices on the New York jazz scene.”
For this special solo performance at Meyhouse Jazz San Ramon, McCarthy brings his distinctive voice to the piano in an intimate setting, drawing from his original music and a career shaped by jazz, vocal collaboration, Broadway, and contemporary dance.
