11-time Grammy Award winner Tony Lindsay brings his rich, soulful voice to Meyhouse Jazz for an evening where soul meets jazz.
Best known for his 25 years as the lead vocalist for Santana, Lindsay became part of one of the most celebrated chapters in the band’s history, performing on major recordings and touring with Santana around the world. His voice carries the polish of a world-class performer, but also the warmth, phrasing, and emotional depth of a singer deeply rooted in soul, R&B, and jazz.
For this special program, Lindsay presents a powerful selection of soul standards by Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, and Frankie Beverly, alongside select jazz standards that highlight his range and versatility.
