Brooks and Lal began performing in 2020 just prior to the Covid 19 shelter and despite the challenges of living 3000 miles apart (Brooks in California and Lal in New York) they have performed in Hong Kong at the Asia Society;  at the Stanford Jazz Festival, Paul Dresher's East Oakland Series, SF Music Day, The Edith Wharton Home in Lenox, MA; San Francisco’s Swedenbourgian Church; Oakland Jazz and Justice series and Golden Gate Park’s Flower piano.
