Show: 6:30 PM After her sold-out shows in Palo Alto, Meyhouse Jazz welcomes back Black Olive Jazz featuring Kay Kostopoulos on vocals and finger cymbals.
A renowned San Francisco recording artist now based in New York City, Kay Kostopoulos brings a rare blend of musicality, theatrical presence, and emotional depth to the stage. A former Stanford University teacher and actress, Kay has appeared at leading New York venues including 54 Below, Arthur’s Tavern, Bryant Park, and Birdland, and has performed at the Napa, Sonoma, and Fillmore Jazz festivals in the Bay Area.
For this special evening, Kay will be joined by New York virtuoso pianist John DiMartino and Bay Area saxophone treasure Noel Jewkes.
